Important Information about After School Enrichment Programs (ASEP) classes at Ortega:

1. Sign up directly with the provider offering the class. (Clicking on the flyer links to the respective registration site.)
2. After registering your student, all communication regarding the individual class will be handled by the provider. 
3. Wednesday classes that include both TK and Kindergarten students will begin with a 15-20 minute lunch period for students to eat food that they have brought from home. Students will be supervised during this time. 
4. Classes that include Grades 1-5 will begin at 2:35 with a supervised snack time for 1st-3rd graders. Instruction will begin at 2:55 when older students arrive.
5. Please notify your child’s teacher and their aftercare program of their enrollment in an ASEP class, as well as the necessary dates and details of that class.
6. Students in TK and Kindergarten will be met at their class and walked to the location of the enrichment program. TK and Kinder students will be walked to their onsite aftercare program (either Happy Hall or Boys and Girls Club) afterwards, if applicable. 
7. ASEP providers are unable to provide transportation to offsite aftercare programs, including Boys and Girls Club for Grades 1-5.

Scholarships Available!!!
If there is an enrichment opportunity that you would love to provide for your child but it just isn’t in your family’s budget right now, please reach out to ASEP@ortegapto.org. There are scholarship opportunities available for classes meeting a minimum enrollment of 10 students but not yet full.
