Get Involved! 2021-2022 PTO Board Nominations



Ortega's Parent-Teacher Organization is looking for nominations for the 2021-2022 PTO Board! Submission are due by May 19th at 3PM. The Ortega PTO consists of a group of dedicated, skilled, conscientious, and fun individuals who enjoy contributing to the Ortega community through purposeful engagement with the school. Parents and volunteers serve a crucial role at Ortega by giving their time, talent, and treasure to make our school great. One way that you can contribute is volunteering to serve on the Ortega PTO Board. There are many reasons that members join the Ortega PTO. Maybe you have a professional skill that could be useful- like party planning (activities coordinator or fundraising), accounting (treasurer), graphic design or copy editing (secretary of records or secretary of communications). Maybe you'd like to do something that isn't part of your professional identity but is new, novel and fun for you. Or maybe you see something at Ortega that you'd like to expand, improve, or change.

Serving on Ortega's PTO board is a great opportunity to make an important and meaningful impact at Ortega. To nominate someone, or yourself, to the Ortega PTO Board: 1) Read the PTO Board Descriptions linked on the PTO Nominations page of ortegapto.org. 2) Fill out the google form "Nominations for Ortega's 2021-2022 PTO Board" and submit on or before May 19th at 3pm.

Co-Secretary of Communications

Co-Activities Coordinator

Treasurer or Co-Treasurer

Volunteer Coordinator

Tk-2nd Grade Parent Representative

3rd-5th Grade Parent Representative
