Ortega's PTO Board Members

President

Maria Jackson

This is my third year on the Ortega PTO board, and my second as PTO President. I have two kids at Ortega currently, a third grader and a 5th grader. I am originally from Los Angeles and have lived in Pacifica for 12 years. I was very impressed by the Ortega community's ability to consistently come together for the benefit of Ortega students. I joined the PTO board because I wanted to be an active member of that community. I love this little community!

Erin Levardo

Hi! My name is Erin Levardo. I am a wife to Brian Levardo, and mom to Ellie (1st grade) and Anna (preschool). I am a NP and recently left my clinical position at San Francisco General Hospital’s Urgent Care Clinic to pursue my passion in nursing education as an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing. I enjoy spending time with my family, the beach, hiking, running and more recently, my Peloton. I am excited to take an active role in our community and school and look forward to a fantastic school year with you all!

Communications Secretary

Andriana Antoniou

Hi Otters, this is my second year on the Ortega PTO board in the position of communications secretary and I've enjoyed every minute of it. I love being part of a group of thoughtful, motivated parents that are working together to create the best educational experience for our kids. I joined the PTO board because I wanted to be fully involved in our community. When I'm not volunteering at Ortega I coach my kids AYSO soccer teams, teach Greek Dance, and occasionally squeeze in some attorney work. My daughter, Marianthi, is in Mrs. Fare's fabulous firsties class. I also have a son, Demetri, who is a 3rd grader at Good Shepherd this year. I love the small community feeling at Ortega. If you see me on a campus, say Hi!

Activities Coordinator

Julie Cotter

This is my sixth year being on the PTO at Ortega, and my first year planning activities. My daughter, Charlotte is a sixth grade bulldog at IBL and my daughter, Katy, is a fourth grade otter. My husband and I are both native Pacificans and are thrilled to be raising our family in this beautiful city. I volunteer at Ortega because I enjoy being involved in shaping my children’s experiences and bringing our Ortega community together. I'm honored to be part of this group of amazing families and dedicated teachers and staff.

This is my second year on the PTO board at Ortega. I have a daughter in second grade who is very excited to be back at school learning in person. We love the caring teachers and staff at Ortega and the afterschool and community activities.

TK-2nd Grade Parent Representative

Alicia Hull

I have two littles, Kinzie who is in 2nd grade and Maxton who is in kindergarten this year. I decided to get involved because I really love Ortega and I have enjoyed volunteering in my daughters classroom over the past few years. What I love about Ortega is the love for all the kids and the amazing teachers and staff. I am surprised all the time about how many wonderful people surround my kids and help them grow and are so grateful to be part of this wonderful school. When not with my kids who are my whole world I work as a labor and delivery nurse. When we can we enjoy spending time at the beach or doing anything outdoors in nature along with spending time with our dogs and cats.

3rd-5th Grade Parent Representative

Belen Arguelles-Pickering

I have two daughters, one who is 8 and the other is 4. I joined the PTO to be more involved in our school community and to get to know some more parents at Ortega. Being a parent of an Ortega otter has been great! We enjoy the small community feel of the school, close proximity to our house, and the welcoming environment of Mr. Jackson and all the Ortega staff.
