Students walk, and those who are unable to walk roll, around the school with their classes while being showered with non-toxic color powder from parent volunteers. All students will wear their special Color Walk & Roll t-shirt and be given the option to wear sunglasses and a mask.  Family members are encouraged to volunteer for this fun event!

This is a volunteer-run event, and we can't do it without your help! Every class in the school goes through the course, and we need lots of volunteers for the event to run smoothly.

The Ortega Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) raises funds for important projects and programs at our school. 100% of the money raised at Color Walk & Roll is used to fund enrichment programs at Ortega: Art Instructor, Garden Science Instructor, P.E., teacher funds, and community events that students adore.  We hope to raise at least $30,000 in Color Walk & Roll pledges this year.  If each student raises $100, we can easily reach that goal!
